Cottage Mees cozy and quiet located on the sunny hill of Husen
Lying on a sunny mountainside and wonderfully quiet in nature is cottage Mees. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, the decor is comfortable and playful. The cottage is fully equipped. From the terrace you have a great view of the valley and the village of Husen. A beautiful tree provides partial shade on the terrace. In the tree are many birds, these are good to observe from the easy chairs. You can also use the sunshade. From early morning until late in the evening you can enjoy it and recover from a day out.
Inside, the sitting area is comfortable with a corner sofa with chaise longue, armchair and a large rug. A wall unit with warm tones and lots of wood make it natural and cozy. The dining area overlooks the valley. Even in winter it is lovely here. From the dining area you can quickly reach the kitchen. This has a traditional atmosphere and is very well cared for. There is plenty of counter space, an electric stove, oven, fridge with freezer, toaster and a nespresso machine for delicious coffee. From the living room you can access the bedroom. This is equipped with a spacious, comfortable bed with slightly raised entry, two bedside tables with storage space and a spacious closet. It is cool in the summer because of its location on the shady side. From the living room you also enter the hallway, here there is plenty of storage space, there is a full-length mirror and even a shoe cabinet. From the hall you go to the bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Cottage Mees is easily reached without a height difference.

The park is quiet and very spacious. It is built against a southern slope which provides a pleasant climate. There is mini-golf, a playground, table tennis and a sports field. You can swim 2 km away in Atteln in a natural pool with water from the river Altenau. Electric bike rentals are available in Paderborn, a 20-minute drive away.
The restaurant "die Fabrik" at the entrance is atmospheric. Host Tom serves tasty meals in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
The park is car-free, there are two spacious parking lots, one at the bottom and one at the top of the mountain.
The area is rich with forests and mountains, it invites to hiking and cycling.There are many attractions in the area, the wisents at blankenrode, Kloster Dalheim and Nature Park Teutoburgerwald are some examples. The towns of Paderborn, Brilon, Willingen and Winterberg are nearby. In the cottage is a folder with information and at the reception are brochures.
